Privacy policy
Last updated November 1, 2026
This site is run by 30 Days to Fix (“we”), TODO: PO box, City, QC, Postal code, Canada. We follow Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA) and, for people in Quebec, Quebec's private-sector privacy law. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect and why
- Email list: your email address, the date and time you signed up, and the wording you agreed to. We use it only to email you about new episodes and the show's own offers (the Reunion Pass, merch). We keep the sign-up record as proof that you asked for the emails.
- Reunion Pass and boosts: the name you want shown, your email (for your receipt and to link boosts to your pass), and the amount you paid. Your name appears on the leaderboard and in the Day 30 episode if you agree to that at checkout. Your email and amounts are never shown.
- Payments: you pay on Stripe's checkout. Stripe (through Stripe Managed Payments) is the merchant of record: it sells the pass, collects any sales tax and sends your receipt. We never see your card number. Stripe tells us your email, what you bought, the amount and the name you chose.
- Business applications: these arrive as an email you send us. We use them only to reply to you.
We don't sell your information, we don't use advertising trackers on this site, and we don't use cookies of our own.
Who helps us
We share information only with the services that run the site, and only what they need:
- Stripe (checkout, receipts, sales tax and refunds, as the merchant of record)
- Upstash (stores leaderboard names and purchase records)
- Buttondown (sending the email list)
- Our web host (serving the site)
These services may store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it can be subject to local laws. They're bound by contract to protect it and use it only for us.
How long we keep it
- Email list: until you unsubscribe, then the record of your consent and unsubscribe for up to 3 years as proof.
- Payment records: as long as tax law requires (in Canada, generally 6 years).
- Names on the leaderboard: until the leaderboard is taken down, or sooner if you ask. Names drawn into a published episode stay in that episode.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time with the link at the bottom of every email. We act on it right away, and always within 10 business days.
- Ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or ask to be shown as “Anonymous supporter”.
- Withdraw your consent at any time (this doesn't undo things already done, such as an episode already posted).
- If you're not happy with how we handled a request, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or, in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information.
Age
You need to be 13 or older to join the email list. To pay, you need to be 18 or older or have a parent or guardian's permission.
